- In addition to helping Human Services Agencies summarize their outcome results numbers, HSPS also functions as an independent outcome results auditor. This includes grading the outcome results as excellent, very satisfactory, satisfactory, minimally acceptable or inadequate.
- Elected officials and funding organizations, such as United Way, often ask - so what? Are these outcome numbers "good or bad"? The HSPS outcome ratings are like a "school report card". Outcome results with "minimally acceptable or inadequate" ratings are outcome goals recommended for more attention and improvement.
- The Independent Outcome Results Audit done by HSPS is similar in importance to the role of an outside fiscal auditor.
